Kagura organic matcha is grown on a 125 acre tea farm from Shizuoka. The area is 600m above sea level and the soil and climate is ideal for tea. Matcha is a type of green tea that comes in powdered form. It's made from finely ground green tea leaves that have been shaded before harvesting, resulting in a bright green color and a distinct flavor. The leaves are then ground into a fine powder using a stone mill, and the resulting powder is whisked with hot water to create a drink. Product is halal and follows FSSC satefy certification.
